Abduction! is an Android game where players guide a cow to save its friends, using the accelerometer to navigate through various platforms and collect power-ups.
Gameplay and Controls
Abduction! stars a heroic bovine tasked with the mission of saving its friends from alien abduction. The cow must soar into the sky to reach the alien spacecraft, a feat only possible through hopping on a series of platforms. Along the way, the cow can gather various power-ups that either grant extra lives, alter the platform size, or simply provide bonus points.
The controls in Abduction! are built around the accelerometer. By tilting your phone left or right, you can direct the cow's movements. The game's controls are intuitive and easy to get the hang of, though mastering them can prove more of a challenge.
Game Modes and Difficulty Levels
The game offers six levels of difficulty, from 'Kids' to the daunting 'Evil Infinite', allowing players to gradually progress. In Quick game mode, the goal is to reach as high as possible. Another mode available is a demo of Abduction! World Attack, a standalone game that adds more variety to the gameplay. Here, you journey through different scenarios across the globe to rescue the rest of the herd. The gameplay in Abduction! World Attack is fundamentally the same, but it introduces different characters and backdrops to keep things fresh.
Graphics and Sound
Abduction! boasts vibrant and cartoonish graphics that complement the game's light-hearted theme. The sound aspect, however, could use some improvement. The developer has even suggested that players turn off the audio in the current beta release, as it tends to slow down the game.
